Introduction …
Since the early 20th century, the idea of visual pedagogy or simply put using images for education has been adapting and advancing to new levels. From the very beginning of nude photography tothe most recent computer animated ones, they both maintain the common theme of pointing out how to adjust and move ones body so that the user or viewer can self correct. In this exhibit, we will look at the two extreme ends of the spectrum to see the dramatic difference. That being said, even though these images are aesthetically different they have maintained the same goals. Which is to help better the intended viewer.

This image shows the person for which the animated image replicates their movement so that the movements can be analyzed and shown with the correct ones.
This image depicts the use of virtual realities for rugby players showing a computer animated figure and then different stick figures that demonstrate proper angles
This is an example of the correct way to jump. This image would be superimposed with the subjects form so that the subject can see the proper way to complete the action and make the needed corrections.
This is a clipping from a study done on teaching young kids how to jump and shows what they were doing compared to what the proper form is.
